Stonehenge, Wiltshire
Stonehenge has always been one of my favourite places to visit, although with the ever increasing number
of visitors it sometimes loses some of its atmosphere. But on a snowy winter's afternoon, it's still as
mysterious as ever.
Avebury is always well worth a visit - not so many tourists and you can get close to
the stones and touch them.

No date for this postcard - however, the stones appear to be rather more higgledy-piggledy than they are now
so perhaps some restoration work was carried out at some stage.    (
