| Some Towns and Villages in South Dakota, USA |

| South Dakota is one of the mid-western states of the USA. The capital is Pierre, whilst the largest city is Sioux Falls. The Missouri divides the state roughly in two, creating two distinct halves, East River and West River. The state is dominated by a rural economy and life-style. Its population of under a million make it one of the least heavily populated of the American states. The major tourist attraction is Mount Rushmore, in the Black Hills. This page contains postcards of towns and villages in South Dakota for which we have as yet insufficient images to justify a separate page. Follow the link for old postcards of Mitchell. |
