| Sorrento lies at the southern end of the Bay of Naples and enjoys a beautiful view of the bay, Naples itself and of Vesuvius. It is an extremely popular tourist resort with some excellent hotels and restaurants. The Isle of Capri is easily reached by boat or by hydrofoil both from Naples and Sorrento. The island has a very mild climate year round and is noted for the quality of its air. |
