San Remo is a town on Italy's Ligurian coast. It is a popular tourist resort and hosts many music, sporting and other festivals including the San Remo Music Festival. The population in 2009 was about 57,000.

Did You Know.....that Edward Lear, the English writer known for his nonsense poetry and limericks, lived and died in Sanremo ? His tombstone is in the Foce Cemetery.
