| What appears to be a 1930s postcard of the statue of Aphrodite in Richmond Terrace Gardens. If I remember correctly, this statue was replaced in the 1950s with another more modern sculpture, nicknamed "Bulbous Bessie", which caused quite a stir at the time - but i could be wrong ! Someone please correct me !! |
