Nottingham
The City of Nottingham lies on the River Trent in the East Midlands of
England. It is the traditional county town of Nottinghamshire although the
county administration is now in nearby West Bridgford. Nottingham was
formerly an important lace-making centre but this industry has now all but
disappeared from the area. It is of course closely associated with the Robin
Hood legends.
