| A drive along the overseas highway from Key Largo takes you to the southernmost tip of the USA, Key West. When I visited it in 1963, it was little more than a quaint fishing village with only a few tourists. It is the starting point for US Route 1. Ernest Hemingway lived here for several years and his home is now a museum. |
