| Kettering is a market town in Northamptonshire, about 80 miles north of London. The town grew up round the boot and shoe industry in the 19th Century, but since the 1970s this industry has declined with only a couple of small firms remaining. Britain's second oldest theme park, Wicksteed Park, is on the outskirts of Kettering. |
