Postcards of the Past
Ilmington,

Old Postcard, Ilmington, Warwickshire
A good view of Ilmington.
Ilmington is a village in south Warwickshire, about  eight miles south of
Stratford-upon-Avon and close to Chipping Campden and Shipston-on-Stour. The
village lies just below Ilmington Downs (the highest point in Warwickshire) and on
the northern edge of the Cotswolds.  I have some family connections - my mother's
brother's wife was born there and my mother's family spent a lot of time there in the
early 20th Century.
