Hull, or more properly Kingston-upon-Hull, is a city in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It lies about 25 miles from
the North Sea coast at the spot where the River Hull joins the Humber Estuary.

born in Hull in 1903 ?

Did You Know.......that Hull is the only place in the UK which did
not come under the Post Office monopoly and had - and still has -
its own privately run telephone system ? The telephone boxes in the

reformer who was influential in the abolishment of the slave
trade, was born in Hull in 1759, and was a member of
Parliament for the borough.
