| Erie, Pennsylvania |

| As its name might suggest, Erie is a city lying on the shore of Lake Erie in the north-western corner of Pennsylvania. Once a hub of heavy industry, the city has been forced towards attracting tourists, and the nearby Presque Isle State Park attracts more than four million visitors a year, providing a boost to the local economy. Because of its location on the lake, the city averages about 90 inches of snow each winter. |
