Devon is a county in the south-west of England, bordering the Bristol Channel to the north and the English
Channel to the south. It is the third largest in size of the English counties. The county town is Exeter. Devon's
seaside resorts, plus
Dartmoor and part of Exmoor, ensure that tourism is a major contributor to its economy.
This page contains postcards of towns and villages in the county for which
we have as yet insufficient images to justify a separate page. Follow the links for old postcards of
Brixham,
Dartmouth, Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.
