| Connecticut is one of the New England states in the north-eastern USA. It is bordered by Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York and the Atlantic Ocean. The capital city is Hartford and the largest city Bridgeport. In area, Connecticut is ranked 48th of the states whilst its 2009 population of about 3.5 million places it in 29th place. It was one of the 13 colonies which revolted against British Rule. New Haven is home to Yale University. This page contains postcards of towns and villages in the state for which we have as yet insufficient images to justify a separate page. |
