| Cannes is one of the best known resorts on the French Riviera. It has a long, sandy beach, most of which is private, very expensive and covered with parasols so that you can hardly see it. The Annual Cannes Film Festival brings hordes of visitors to the town, including of course many famous - and would be famous - film actors. The Promenade de la Croisette runs parallel to the beaches and contains many expensive hotels and shops. |
