| Amiens, Somme |
| Amiens is a town in Northern France about 75 miles north of Paris through which many of us will have passed on our way from the Channel ports to the French capital. It has a large 13th Century Gothic cathedral, whilst the surrounding area is known for its hortillonnages, which are gardens on small islands in the marshland along the Somme. |
