| Alassio is a smallish town in Liguria, on Italy's Gulf of Genoa, and enjoys a beautiful location with mountains close behind and a sandy beach on the Mediterranean. It has a fine promenade and a maze of narrow streets with small shops, restaurants and cafes. Alassio's population is around 12,000 (2007). |
