Stratford-upon-Avon, Fountain, Aerial View
(Z)                         Two versions of the same view. The colour (hand-tinted ?)  view was mailed in August 1953.
An excellent view of the town, with the Fountain in the centre (almost), Rother Street leading to the bottom
right and Greenhill Street to the bottom left.

No date for this excellent aerial view.  (Z)
This postcard was mailed in the 1940s - the message on the reverse refers to "fly bombs" - and shows Wood
Street and Bridge Street on the left, and Ely Street and Sheep Street on the right. The theatre, however,
appears to be the old building, which would date the card from the 1920s.    (

A super view of the old theatre. This postcard was mailed in 1925, not long before the theatre was destroyed
by fire - click

This great view of the town is dated 1957.    (Z)
