| Aargau is a canton in the north of Switzerland, bordering Germany to the north. Its capital is Aarau. It is one of the least mountainous of the Swiss cantons, forming part of the table-land to the north of the Alps. There are eleven districts, viz. Aarau, Baden, Bremgarten, Brugg, Kulm, Laufenburg, Lenzburg, Muri, Rheinfelden, Zofingen and Zurzach. With the exception of Kulm (capital Unterkulm), the capital city of each district bears the same name as the district. |
